Hello World

good lord i've got a headache, i'm sick, work in two hours, and i've no voice. needless to say this moment was predetermined, destined if you will, to be the moment that i post this.

my brother prompted me to get a xanga back in spring 02, but it wasn't until lyle hooked me up with an access code for livejournal (when it wasn't free) in the fall that i started to actively blog. i didn't really understand why someone would blog, or write in a journal or diary for that matter; but i guess like a lot of folks placing one's thoughts into some visual form appealed. i stopped blogging maybe a year or two ago.

so either way here you are. i don't know how blogger links other blogs but if they don't then the only way you got here would be through my facebook.

i noticed i was writing an excess amount of notes, and like all blogs while they may mean to be private, unless you lock your blog so no one can see it, most likely you want someone to read what you wrote. so as i was saying it was an excess amount of notes, and while i did want people to see them; i'm pretty sure a lot of folks could care less about what i was thinking so i needed some other place to vocalize my thoughts, so rather than turning back to my livejournal or xanga i took a queue from christina and made a new blog. so my bro had an account at blogger and luckily they used gmail accounts as well.

so what's this thing gonna be about? whatever i damn well please i guess. i like to shit talk and spread information about people, i'm very vocal about my politics but i realize i do have friends and aquaintences of all parts of the political spectrum as well as friends that are super religious (which is why i wanted another outlet, even though i would love to talk about flying invisible spaghetti monsters), in addition to this i'm a nerd of all trades: anime, videogames, electronics and hardware, history; oh shit you name it. plus i like to write poetry as well as having a large pen--i mean imagination.

sigh i'm a cocky mothafucka that loves people telling me how great of a poet i am even though i suck at it, but i'm way better than the people that suck more than me, so i will miss people chimming in with "wow rick that's sooo good," cause that's what she said. that and i'm very open about things of a sexual nature i guess. shit that paragraph made no sense, yes non sequitor would probably be the best word to define me.

luckily since this is the first post it'll be tucked way back into the recesses of the intraweb. but if i ever become some big politician hopefully i'll go erase this.
